Bitspan's tackles images in spam emails

Vancouver, BC, August 01, 2006. Bitspan Network Inc., an anti-spam technology developer, has announced that it has successfully added an innovative image analysis technology to Spamity™, the company's flagship product.  In this version of Spamity™, the company's patent-pending sequencing technology is used to analyze text and images contained in emails.  With this addition, Spamity™ component can significantly help reduce false negatives (the inability to filter out spam) and false positives (erroneous detection of legitimate email as spam).
