Spam
When the Recipient of an email has not granted verifiable permission for the message to be sent to them, thus "Unsolicited" and where the message is sent as part of a larger collection of messages, all having substantively identical content, a.k.a. "Bulk". A message is Spam only if it is both "Unsolicited" and "Bulk".

Spamity™
The term Spamity™ ("es-pam_e_tea") refers to an electronic message's quality or state of being a spam. To assess the spamity of an email is to assess whether the email is spam or not based on various criteria. The definition of this criteria may differ from one entity to another. Spamity™ is a trademark of Bitspan Network Inc.

Spamming
Spamming is the act of sending spam.
